Fall Trend: Bordeaux Bold...

Hi everyone!
I hope you're having a great week. It's been a crazy and busy week for me so far with school starting again and work, work, work. I hope your schedule is easier than mine!

School is back in full swing so that just means, fall is right around the corner. Fall is my favorite season because it brings all the fall trends, the holidays and there's just a certain magical feeling in the air around that time. A fall trend that I am loving and hoping to wear soon, is the Bordeaux color. Bordeaux color is a deeper reddish wine color or a brownish red color. This trend is going to be great for fall because it's so versatile. You can style Bordeaux colored items with black, tan, navy blue, or purple tones. It'll work with so many different looks.

Transition your bordeaux pieces to fall by pairing a dress with tights and booties.
Who knew bordeaux could look so amazing with a navy blue!?

Simple Stripes!!!...

Hi! I hope you've had a great week!

We all know I have an obsession with stripes, so it is only appropriate for me to pair stripes with stripes.  If you think stripes with more stripes is too much, well you're wrong! All you have to do is follow my rules below to wearing a stripe on stripe outfit and you'll be set.

1) Make sure width of the stripes on top and bottom are not the same size.
or
2) Make sure stripes on top and bottom are going different directions, for example my top has horizontal stripes and my bottoms have vertical stripes.
or
3) Make sure stripes on top and bottom are different colors, of course complementing colors always helps.

Have fun pairing your stripes!!

Fall Trend: Green Machine....

Hi! I hope you're having a great weekend!

Fall is just around the corner, so we all know what that means. Fall trends! There's one fall trend that I'm loving and it's the military green, or army green or olive colored pieces, whatever you call it, it's awesome! I love that this color is not your typical fall color. It's such a wonderful mix when designers pair this color with a feminine style top or gorgeous heels, which makes the look more edgy for fall.

The next time you go shopping for fall clothes, remember to pick up some pieces in this wonderful fall color.

Another exciting thing I'd like to share with you is that another one of my photos have been added to the Lauren Conrad Wear Gallery!!

So Exciting!!

Also, imagine pairing this top and heels with black leather leggings, a motorcycle jacket and a dark purple scarf for fall! Amazing!!

Love the gorgeous black buttons that go down the back. You can't really tell here, but they are there!

How gorgeous are these olive green heels? As soon as Elyssa showed them to me, I knew I had to borrow them for this outfit. I love everything about them, the chunky heel, the color and how comfortable they are. Thanks again, Elyssa!

Shoes:: Banana Republic (borrowed from my sweet friend, Elyssa!)

The balancing act between Fun & Professional...

Hi! I hope you had a great weekend.
Now that Monday is over, it'll be a good week. I promise!

I feel that working in the corporate world sometimes brings a girl's fashion sense down. It's hard for a lot of women to balance between looking professional and fashionable, especially in an office environment. This balancing act is not easily done, but don't worry, I believe in YOU! Just tell yourself, I can look cute and professional!

When I want to have a good day and feel cute, I prefer to throw on a dress or skirt. I suggest looking for skirts that have something unique about them (pleating, print or shape), like my scallop skirt below. I love the light gray color and the scallop cuts on the bottom of the skirt. Pair this baby with a striped top, turquoise jewelry and some awesome heels and you've got a look right out of Instyle magazine. I hope you feel inspired to create your own fun and professional look.

Love this color combo with the polka dots!
Michelle Williams
I love this look! The tweed skirt and the sleek collared black top with the peep hole is so chic!

She's rocking the basic black blazer, heels and a beautiful animal print skirt.

Shades of Red...

Hi everyone! I hope it's been a great week for you so far. Mine has been super busy and I feel like I haven't written a post in so long, but don't worry I'm back! Well, we all know that most of the time when someone thinks of the color red, they usually associate it with being sexy or love. I personally really like the color red. There's something about putting on a red top that always makes me feel grown up and sophisticated. Don't say you can't wear red because it doesn't look good on you, this is not true! This is a very strong color and can make a statement when you walk into a room, but don't ever feel like you can't pull off a top because it's red. I've heard too many people say that and it's definitely not true. People forget that there are many different shades of red and even though the deep red might not compliment your skin tone, the maroon red might or the peachy red. Don't give up on red!

Below is an example of some different shades of red that you can choose from next time you go shopping.
